Cordoba

In the middle of Cordoba in Southern Spain stands the most astonishing building. It is known as the Mosque Cathedral because, in 1236, a gothic cathedral was shoehorned into the centre of the enormous 8th century mosque.

The result is breathtaking. Overlapping architectural styles combine to overload the senses, and all I can do is recommend that you do your best to visit it.

The painting is acrylic on canvas and is currently unframed.
